José Humphreys is President of Mosaic Collaborative, Inc., an organizational consulting collective, specializing in strengths-based leadership development, culture building, and human resources training for nonprofit and government organizations. José’s expertise includes specialized services around, trauma informed leadership, organizational change, restorative mediation, executive coaching, team building, and cultivating organizational practices around employee wellbeing. 

José currently serves as an HR consultant-coach with Exodus Transitional Community (ETC), an organization dedicated to changing lives and restoring hope with people who are legally impacted by the justice system. During his seven years at ETC, he has designed a trauma-informed onboarding and orientation program for new employees and interns, has led board development sessions, designed staff retreats, and provides coaching and mediation to leadership and staff at all levels. José was also a co-creator of the Credible Messenger Institute (CMI) with Community Connections for Youth, Inc. The CMI is an evidence informed healing experience for participants who are legally impacted, who aspire to be mentors to young people. José list of coaching and consulting clients include: Cultivate South Park, Inc.; Esperanza Inc., Neighborhood Economics; The Parish Collective; Children’s Aid Society, New Horizons; Thrive NYC; the RCA, Inc. to name a few.   

José graduated with a Master of Social Work from the Hunter College School of Social Work where he received the Reva Fine Holtzman award for outstanding field research and practice. He holds a Master of Divinity from Alliance Theological Seminary.
