When we lose people: things become…

UNDONE–

Breaking brings feelings, or the sensation of nothing at all.

Breaking causes overwhelming noise, and

The heaviest sounds of void,

a transition through loss:

nothingness where was once everything stood

Now the two meet at a crossroads.

Laces untied,

UNFINISHED–

Yet, to be,

SPACE–

to be woven back together,

or remain untied

A PLACE TO FINISH, TO (BE)COME COMPLETE–

We met them – we met him – just before coming up on the crossroads of nothing/everything and all.

A crossroads where a journey could (be)come

complete

The place where his journey would be complete.

His heart restored to wholeness.

The breaking and weight of of whatever felt heaviest changed in an instant

To space,

To light,

To all the colors at once,

To the feeling of water whirling when you play avatar or Matrix in the pool

To be(come) in the this moment of ending

Was to be

Complete in anything left undone, or unsaid, unfinished…

Key word: complete.

That’s what it was, even as it’s hardest for those

Left behind without that perspective.

Wondering how the laces will be tied back together

Again

It was complete:

Love

Creation

Leadership

Presence

Sweetness

Coolness

Laughter

Listening

Sharing

Presence.

His presence was complete

Enough

Right

Good

Even in all the bits one individual might have held,

We re-member - his whole life

his whole self

Each of us carry a lil piece with us

Some carry bigger pieces,

And others just a sliver.

All precious.

All connected - in the knowing.

The thing that breaks might make way for something new to emerge–to be. To become again.

The graciousness of endings.
